i made this magnet man to look like a mmx character but it does not meet quality standards i have updated the sprite to look more SNES like.

He looks a bit too much like Megaman imo. I think he should be altered a bit more.
The knee pads also don't stick out enough. They look more like white paint. The helmet has some iffy shading.
This may just be a stylistic decision, but I think his magnet was larger originally?

It looks like a mmx edit with a magnet slapped on the head.
Try copying/emulating the style not editing the style. There's plenty of references of all variations of magnet man on this site I believe, use them to your advantage.

You could also add a touch of artistic flare to the image. Megaman got a new design for Megaman X so why not do the same for Magnet man rather than trying to follow the NES art as closely as possible.
