Really like that game (for some reason, as it isn't particularly good).

Finally got some time to finish Bill & Ted, so that has now been submitted.

Oh man. I forgot Bill and Ted existed. It's so awful.

Great rip!

RE: NES Full Library Project - Goemar - 03-12-2017

Yes it is...

Actually starting Base wars now. Had forgot about it but conveniently Destructoid had an article about it.

I didn't expect much from it but found it really enjoyable, definately a hidden gem! I'd buy the cart if it weren't $300    Ouch!
Legendary Wings done!

Jesus, that's a pricey game :/

Legendary Wings is another game that people seem to pass over for some reason as well. Pretty good.

Ok, so I know nothing about baseball so need a little help. I'm basically wanting to split the game into 4 sheets, Batting, Pitching, Fighting and running around the field trying to catch the ball/get to the base. I have no idea what the 4th one should be called or if it has any official baseball terminology...

Oh and also, the first frame of the 'getting it by ball' animation seems to have a 'hole' in it (has some weird black bits and mostly transparency for 2 tiles in the middle) - not only is this how it appears in-game but the 'missing' tiles are no where to be found. I'll post it here when the sheet is mostly complete so you can see what I mean, so if you know how to find tiles that don't seem to exist - your help would be appreciated.

You could just call it Running. You run to the base, you get a home run. I think it's just "Running."

RE: NES Full Library Project - Goemar - 03-13-2017

Think I'm just going to split it by robot class (so 4 sheets) and depending what the battle sprites are like (not familiar with the game too well so no idea how many weapons are available or if they change the sprites too much) either include them or have then in separate sheets.

Either way, probably going to be pretty much a full rip by time I'm done... if I ever get time to work on it, been pretty busy Sad

Take your time! You're kicking butt so far.

RE: NES Full Library Project - Goemar - 03-13-2017

Reckon things will slow down when we start hitting the traditional sports games... I mean, look at all the baseball games... madness...

RE: NES Full Library Project - Ton - 03-13-2017

There are roughly 492 NES Baseball games.

RE: NES Full Library Project - Goemar - 03-13-2017

Right, some of Base Wars submitted. Will keep working on it while doing other things, just want to get all these games up asap at the moment.

...onto Peek-a-boo poker...

RE: NES Full Library Project - Firejoker54 - 03-13-2017

Gyruss done! Doing research for this game, I've found out that this game was directed by Yoshiki Okamoto. After this game, he left Konami to work for Capcom due to disagreements . Any of you know small games like Street Fighter, Final Fight and Resident Evil? SAME GUY.  Surprise

Man I remember that game blowing my mind back in the day... and also being really really bad at it...

RE: NES Full Library Project - Ton - 03-14-2017

We're closing in on 20 games added! You guys are amazing!

Can I request Sesame Street? Tongue
