Mohawk and Headphone Jack - Ton - 02-16-2017

I just heard about this odd SNESĀ game for the first time through the "Continue?" show. The game is so bizarre, but the sprite work is really interesting. I was going to capture them, but the background color bleeds into the sprites.
Could anyone get the main character ripped? I'd appreciate it!

I love Continue? a lot, I'm glad I'm not the only one who watches. :0

I'll take a peek after work. No promises, though, the game is a train wreck.

It sure is! A beautiful train wreck.

Also, Josh is Heart

Speaking of which, is there any interest in ripping the game they made about them? The one that's all contra-like? I mean, I feel like it teeters on the edge of something we might normally put on the site and something we wouldn't. The sprites are nice, though.

Was that a real game, or just a Flash thing or video someone made?

RE: Mohawk and Headphone Jack - TomGuycott - 02-16-2017

It's a real game I was able to download, I'll link some info when I'm home. I forget where they posted it, and odds are we would need artist permission first.

Tom, did you have any luck with Mohawk?

RE: Mohawk and Headphone Jack - TomGuycott - 03-01-2017

Sorry, I posted in the Discord server but didn't know how to draw it to your attention directly at the time and I think it was swept away.

It doesn't organize the sprites efficiently in the Vram, so save states for individual frames seems to be the necessary way to do it. Animations don't seem to have TOO many frames ", but I don't know how many animations there are. So it'll be a longer process, but not impossible.

Oh hey, that's awesome! Thanks for tackling it!
