Ripping from LEGO Island 2, many textures are strange - AbsurdBartholomew - 11-07-2016

For some strange reason, about every model has a strange UV map. Either, it inverts, or if it's a ripped .WIB, some models will show the whole face, instead of the main face. (or whatever has a .WIB )

What program are you using to rip and what program are you importing the rips with? The only problems I've ever had with these models was that they are mirrored on the X axis when importing.

I'm using LegoMoe's .msh to .OBJ tools from RRU. I had to apply Xiron's fix so I can actually upload them. Someone told me it was just the models flipped, and that IS correct, but the faces have strange UV maps causing the whole face to show.

I've been using Xiron for 4 years now in some places, I just never got it updated here because I never was never really active before.

Are you by chance the new member "DistrictToTheFuture" on RRU?

As for your problem, I've never actually imported heads due to me using minifigures from another game as a base for myself, so I don't know much about that, sorry. :/
Faces are the a custom texture format .wib right (which we also have a converter for)? And those are 4x4 sheets of face expressions for X character. Have you tried trimming the texture down to one face and applying that new texture to the model?
