RE: Smash 4 Font? - Kosheh - 10-30-2016 secret: it exists and it's a real font. the only thing is, nintendo buys fonts from a fancy Japanese font-making company called "Fontworks", as do many Japanese game developers (like SEGA). The font used in Smash Bros. is called "DFGothic" - and it's like...$500 RE: Smash 4 Font? - Skyla Doragono - 10-30-2016 btw, Googling "making .ttf files" gives you this really good result. Just keep in mind that since it's a paid-for font, you can't distribute the font file you create publicly, but you should be able to recreate it for private use. Also, if you go to fontworks.co.jp, you'll be able to search for the font.  If you click on it, it'll take you to a preview page, where you can type a limited amount of characters in a small space.  It's slow, and requires some Photoshop mucking if you can't get the size you want, but it works as well.
