Amendments To Existing Sound Collections? - Nai255 - 08-03-2016

Was wondering if there was any specific way to go about adding to an incomplete sound collection, or otherwise pointing out any discrepancies to a Moderator.
I have a few examples listed below:

* Example 1: http://www.sounds-resource.com/pc_computer/quake/sound/3142/
This collection does not include sounds used outside the shareware version (Episode 1)

* Example 2: http://www.sounds-resource.com/gamecube/sadx/sound/5703/
B_04_00_00 is a duplicate copy of another sound in this collection, but is otherwise complete. I have the missing sound at the link below:

* Example 3: http://www.sounds-resource.com/snes/kss/sound/903/
This collection appears to be a faulty/corrupted rip, as do other collections from this contributor

I hope to start submitting more sounds with your help on the matter. Thank you in advance

Hey, sorry for the wait. I saw this the other day while out and completely forgot about it by the time I got home.

The sites have a built in revision system that can be used to do exactly what you're looking to do. Click the Revise link, make whatever changes you feel are necessary, explain the changes you made, and submit. It will be queued for review by staff and you'll be notified once it's been addressed.

And thanks for looking into fixing the issues you've found!

Ah ok. Honestly didn't notice the option outside of my own submissions. Or would've assumed only the original contributors could submit revisions for their own uploads.
Thanks again

That's a fair assumption but the reason it works is because nobody but staff can directly edit. All revisions need to be approved by hand so even when you're revision someone else's submission, the changes need to be approved before they take effect.

The difference with editing your own submissions is that you can make direct changes to them before they're approved. Once they're live on the site though, you have to submit revisions even to content you uploaded yourself.
