StarFox Zero Models - HotSnot67 - 05-15-2016

Never expected I do something like this, but I actually obtained some Star Fox Zero models from the game files. These models are in .obj format (and .3ds for fun), yet I have no idea how to apply textures for them on 3DS Max. Also, they have bones. Here's the link if anybody wants to finalize the models.

This guy has been pretty successful with getting some of the models out in the same format. I tried seeing his Great Fox model in 3DS Max 2012 and it looks like the textures work.

I'm still trying to get that mothership into Garry's Mod...

.obj and .3ds don't support bones. You'll have to export them to .DAE, .FBX, whatever you decide on if you want to keep the rigging. (And if the other models ripped from this game are rigged, they'll have to be.)

There is no way I'm going to believe in something like that. It took me forever to get these models, I am not going through all that again. I never rigged a thing at all; I leave the rigging to the experts.

So far the only characters I have seen with their full models are General Pepper and Andross. Seems like the only .dat file I found with the Star Fox crew was the done that was set up to look like the SNES Promo piece.

If anyone has experience with Noesis or with these models can help out in getting their textures exported with their models, that would be appreciated. I can provide the .dat files related if necessary via PM.

I'll send you all the .dat files I was able to extract that pertains to the 3d models. The first one I sent was incomplete.
Sorry for the late reply.

Has anyone managed to get the Cornerian and Star Fox Gyrowing? I would really like to port it to GTA V.
