How to rip Home Menu icons from DSiWare titles? - TeridaxXD001 - 04-23-2016

DSiWare titles can be opened and browsed like any DS game through programs like Tinke. These programs often let you export the Home Menu icon. However, DSiWare titles have animated icons, meaning only the first frame is exportable. How can I export all frames?

Yes. There is a Python script (included here) that allows you to do this, as long asĀ convert.exe from ImageMagick is in the same directory (you'll need to choose the option "Install legacy components" during the setup).

All sprites are in a folder of files. For example, New Super Mario Bros., the sprites would be in the polygon_unit folder
