No but I'm not a fan of extracting everything in one big dump. No fun if you get an error that stops the program and you left with a half extracted mess to sort out or in you case no idea what went wrong.

I had no problem extracting all of the stages in one try but for characters I just looked at a few and they are all named so no need to dump them in a group to find out what files has what character.

Also SGM will DELETE .bin.gz files after extraction. So NOT a good idea to extract the only set of .bin.gz files you have.

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - Jack the giant - 09-23-2020

Did you say yes to everything before extracting or only some of the things

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - AJD-262 - 09-23-2020

Yes to everything or it didn't work.

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - Jack the giant - 09-23-2020

Maybe it's the version I'm using mines a year old maybe I need to get the latest version

Tried the newest version still the idxzrc output

Does it have to be the wii u version

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - AJD-262 - 09-23-2020

I know nothing about the Switch version. Everything I posted is for Wii U. All I know came from this old thread. It maybe worth a read for you. https://web.archive.org/web/20190407050617mp_/https://forum.facepunch.com/dev/qvgq/Hyrule-Warriors/1/

EDIT:
Wondering if maybe if the files are compressed and need to be decompressed. I think I saw that Random Talking Bush has decompression script for QuickBMS.

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - Jack the giant - 09-23-2020

Yeah that's the problem only wii u files work I got to find the wii u version which is a shame because the legends locations like windfall arent in there but hopefully with age of calamity coming out in november people might look into more ways of ripping fro the hyrule warriors games in the mean time thank you for your help this link may help you https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-32413.html it's a thread about a click and drop tool everything gets converted into a xnalara format completley rigged and ready to go I used it for years it's made everything alot easier for me personally thank you again for your help take care and good luck
Edit:
The quickbms may work I'll try it out tommorow though because my laptop about to die I'll update everyone when I find out

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - AJD-262 - 09-23-2020

If you are looking for full stages like like with older Zelda games you will be disappointed. The attachment is all of the model files of Hyrule Field loaded into Blender.

For rigged models I been happy with Noesis script for the G1M format so far https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-36747.html but did only some quick looking at Link models and stopped when I would have to weight paint parts that where done in real time by the game's physics (Ex: Caps and scarf)

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - Jack the giant - 09-23-2020

It still good enough for me because I'm using it for model assets but from what I understand there are three different categories for the map: stage ,terrain, objects maybe they all have to be pieced together I'll look into it if I can

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - AJD-262 - 09-23-2020

Got no models out of the terrain folder (S###-Terrain.bin.gz files) or obj folder (S###-ObjInfo.bin.gz files). Stage objects like Tress and Pots seem to stored in the model folder inside of the S###_Model.bin.gz files with the incomplete ground. I uploaded some things from Hyrule Field already and maybe some time in 2021 they will be approved.

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - Jack the giant - 09-24-2020

For me the bms script wont work for the stages. I'm just gonna keep my fingers cross that with the new hyrule warriors coming out somebody will figure out What to do with this type of file

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - AJD-262 - 09-24-2020

Well a quick google leads me to this. https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-32899.html and it looks like HW:DE is using the same format as Fire Emblem Warriors so maybe trying some FE:W tools with the Switch files will work. https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-32413.html

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - ZeldaOfTriforce - 10-24-2020

How I can import .sbfres into Blender or Max?

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - AJD-262 - 10-25-2020

I would try Switch Toolbox https://github.com/KillzXGaming/Switch-Toolbox It can pull models and textures from a number of formats and list .sbfres as a format it can open.

RE: (Another) Zelda Ripping Project! - ZeldaOfTriforce - 10-29-2020

Have anybody any luck with extracting Age Of Calamity demo? I try and have got no luck so far
