First attempt at spriting in a long time - JewyB - 07-06-2015 So, having posted in 2013 saying i was back and gonna be active on here, i disappeared and never came back, thats commitment! However, i've decided to go back to my roots and start spriting again and hope i can spark some creativity having lost my job and having plenty of free time between searching for a new one... So, i figured i'd attempt a personal sprite and see how rusty i am, which, if im correct, the answer is very, but all C+C is welcome and i look forward to it, thanks guys! Seriously though, remember i havent sprited in wellyears so go easy on me ;D RE: First attempt at spriting in a long time - Filler - 07-06-2015 It gives me a Cave-Story styled feel for some odd reason. Not bad. The left hand looks a bit oddly placed, though. Like as if it's bent upwards slightly. Unlike the right hand. RE: First attempt at spriting in a long time - JewyB - 07-07-2015 I wasnt aiming for a cave story type feel but i definitely see it now you mention it, as for the hand, that was an attempt at copying how i drew out the character the day before which has not translated well over to pixels and i see exactly what you mean, didnt notice until you pointed it out weirdly enough, but thanks
