Better do some backgrounds - they are usefull in tilles T_T........ and can earn you credit Wink

RE: DS Vania Rip Project - SmithyGCN - 01-27-2009

Well, they'll be ripped when they get ripped. No use in telling us as we already know that they'll need to be at some point.

I uploaded all of your latest rips, Gemini, the exception being the last two as, for some reason, Vista isn't allowing me to even open them. :/

I am still amazed that you were able to find their palettes as I had tried on many occassions to get a hold of them with no success.

In other news, I have finished assembling Brauner's sheet and am hard at work assembling Dracula's.

EDIT: Got the two sheets up and running. Great Knight and Final Knight are now up. Smile

RE: DS Vania Rip Project - SmithyGCN - 01-27-2009

Updated the Brauner tiles and assembled it all. This also includes the giant portrait that leads to his boss chamber.

Dracula

Woo, after a few days of working on this, it's done. The only thing missing though, is a purple flame pillar and a few recolor effects. <=/

Wonderful job, Smithy.

RE: DS Vania Rip Project - Frikilangelo - 01-29-2009

thx you ;D

RE: DS Vania Rip Project - Geckosan - 01-29-2009

Nice work Smithy

Exclamation Large file alert:
Dawn of Sorrow: The Lost Village

Does anyone know an alternative image host to imageshack/photobucket that can take larger files without resizing them? I don’t want nasty letter from my ISP for abusing their provided webspace.
The sheet is just under 2MB and is 4352 × 3872

RE: DS Vania Rip Project - SmithyGCN - 02-01-2009

That is purely amazing.

A little sad that they 3d buildings couldn't be ripped, but it's still a nice sheet. Do you have plans on doing all of the maps?

RE: DS Vania Rip Project - Deathbringer - 02-01-2009

Here's a finished version of Alastor.

RE: DS Vania Rip Project - SmithyGCN - 02-01-2009

Well, I'll be, and here I was thinking you idn't have much interest in this project any more. :p

Well, I added it for you.

Also, so that every knows I added this to the first post:

"NEW NOTICE: Also, I'd like to point out that those people who have ripped sheets this project, while perfectly capable of putting these sheets on their own site as they should, should also submit sheets they ripped for this project in the submission forums as that this is for in the first place. This is so that most of these sheets don't go to waste."

RE: DS Vania Rip Project - Deathbringer - 02-01-2009

It's not that I don't have interest, I'm mostly impulsive.

I suppose the reverse counts as well, so that sheets don't get ripped twice; Ecclesia Character Portraits/Mugshots

RE: DS Vania Rip Project - SmithyGCN - 02-01-2009

Well, I'll be. I never thought you'd submit that. Thank you very much, I added it right away.

Cheers!
I do intend to do more maps but I want to alternate between the 3 DS games so probably something from portrait next
