I've gotten redirects and popups frequently on the resources when browsing on mobile. It's to the point where if I need to visit the sites for any reason and it can't wait until I get home, I have to be prepared to spam the back button at any given time. Mobile browsing in general is disgusting but on other websites the ads usually stay in their usual places in headers and sidebars, unless the site I'm visiting is sketchy to begin with (in which case it's totally my fault for following a rabbit hole too far or something). Here not so much.

Yeah, I've been seeing this a lot lately as well and I'm having an extremely hard time narrowing down where they're coming from. I've reached out to both of the main companies we're working with so hopefully something will be done about it soon.

Edit:
A change was just made that should hopefully intercept these more reliably. Please let me know if you continue to see them or, better yet, if you don't. Thanks!

I keep randomly getting sent to an Aldi Prize thing almost every time I go onto the Spriters Resource on Mobile.

Please report any ad on the page so we can investigate.

The Aldi ad keeps popping up when I check the site on my phone too. No advert is touched, it just happens, so it's a bit difficult to identify it, especially if it may not be in the part of the page you're looking at at the time. As stupid as it sounds, I don't think any Aldi advert is there either, but you don't get the time to actually look. It won't let you back to the site either without rapidly pressing back and going back a few websites or out of the browser entirely.

Edit: No, the advert does not appear.

It doesn't matter which one you report or what page you were on. Submitting a report about an auto-redirect from any visible ad on the page captures the history of all ads that loaded which can then be used to identify the malicious one.

Bitdefender blocked TSR for whatever reason. No report buttons as the site was blocked. After clicking "I understand the risks, take me there anyway" and navigating to he forums, I opened TSR in another tab, and strangely enough, there was no site block from Bitdefender this time around.

Please report any ad on any page using the report button and mention your block in the report reason - it will submit a history or viewed ads which should help our ad partners track this one down. Thanks!

People really need to stop asking this. I've done all I can to make them tolerable on mobile (including reducing their size by like 75%) but they keep the lights on and they're not going anywhere. It costs money to keep the site running and they unfortunately earn far more reliably than standard banner ads. If they're missing the close button or the audio is starting automatically, let us know, but otherwise, they're an unfortunate reality for the time being.
