I give up. I can't do it anymore. I quit. - Lilothestitch - 01-21-2015

I give up. I tried my best to improve but it isn't working for me. Now I feel sad about it. I just want to give up. Sad Cry

Or you could... you know... actually try to improve? I mean, if people think you're irritating, work to fix it. Don't ask questions that can easily be solved with a quick Google search. Don't constantly ask for things and pester people when they're not doing what you want them to do, right that second. Learn where the annoyance is coming from and avoid it.

Either way, up to you.

Okay but it won't be that easy for me. I'll need all the help I can get.

RE: I changed my mind - Kosheh - 01-21-2015

We...didn't know that you originally had to change your mind either.

Protip, and first step to self-improvement: The Internet isn't full of psychics - and don't assume that we are.
If it were, that'd be cool. Write posts as if someone else reading the topic has no idea what you're talking about.
It's nice to have posts that are coherent and informative.

Okay, what is the next step of self-improvement?

RE: I changed my mind - Pik - 01-22-2015

OK man, good to see you're taking steps to improve. Kosh is right when he says each post needs to ADD something to a disscussion.
My first word of advice would be to start figuring problems out on your own, or knowing when NOT to ask an obvious question, even if it seems like a harmless thing to bring up.

You seem interested in model ripping, specifically from new games that are tough to crack. Since not all of these formats are figured out yet, it wouldn't be an ideal first ripper's project. A lot of the tools/scripts these formats need to decrypt aren't available to you at this time (or most people, for that matter) So asking "hey guys, can I rip from this Wii U game first???" is quite an ambitious thing to start out with. That's just an example though. Know your own limitations, dude.

Wait did I miss something?

Did you decide to leave again, then change your mind or something?

Maybe you shouldn't threaten to leave a site a bunch of times then not actually leave. If you want to stay then stay and improve, if you want to leave then just do it. Don't be wishy washy or pulling shit off for attention, because that isn't gonna fly here.

I'll stay on the forums & improve but I'll need all the advice & help I can get.

Actions speak louder than words. I remember when I first joined, I wasn't the best member around. I was ANNOYING (do a search of my posts and you'll see what I mean). I didnt just stay like that though. I wanted to improve, so I did. I'm nowhere near the best poster here but I've still come a long way. How do you improve?

Dont ask stupid questions that have obvious answers or can be found on google.

Don't post stuff just to get attention (pretty much what Kat said)

Make sure your post adds to a disscusion or AT LEAST serves a purpose.

Be patient with people.

Actually be a part of the community. Wheather it being you showing off some sprites you made or posting something in GD or real life. If you aren't in sync with the forum (or anywhere for that matter) you're not gonna get along with people very well. I say this because I know where you're coming from and want to help. Just look at other people's post and learn from them. If you try, you will improve.

Okay I'll try my best to improve. So if I improve, thing will be okay, right?

RE: I changed my mind - Dazz - 01-22-2015

One thing you could do is stop deleting every post you make after somebody has already responded to it, thus breaking the flow of the page. If people don't see your post, and somebody responds to it, nobody will know what is actually being spoken about.

Is that against the rules?

Even if it isn't, it's still really annoying to try and piece together and make sense of a discussion when pieces are completely removed or posts are completely changed.

Did you even read his entire post? He gave lots of pointers on how he improved, and how you can improve too.
