I know what I'm getting from Cinemarella and my parents this year. (I'm pretty sure my parents are just giving me a ton of money)
I'm gonna give some of my Black Friday hauls to my parents and Cinemarella, and ask them to wrap them up and give to me. I'll have forgotten by that time and I'll be pretty glad to get...uh, gifts from myself given to me by other people. >_>;
I've also managed to buy a few things for my dad this year already, which is incredibly rare given I used to never know what to get him.
I've found lately it's more fulfilling buying things for my friends lately when I've got a few extra bucks kicking around. You know, instead of being a greedy shit and buying everything for myself all the time.
It's also the fact that every Christmas I get gifts and I'm rarely the one to give them. It's just...
if there's any advice I have to give to you guys, if you're feeling shitty, giving presents just feels so good.
To put it in VGR perspective - even if you have no money, the reactions from your pals when you draw them something as simple as a 5 minute doodle of their character just is a priceless feeling, and you'll feel good after giving your pal something that you've worked (so hard?) on.
