Dragon Quest Swords Models - Jessy - 11-21-2014

Hello everyone i have been following this community some time and thanks to you I learned how to use many tools and get some interesting models.

I have all the BRRES files from the game that were in the monsters and characters folders and I thought it would be nice to share them with you.

The brres comes with the textures and some animations, some of the characters/monsters were repeated because each one had different animations. I only kept one of every character.

I don’t know how to rig them properly as I only need them for size and proportions. But if some of you needs them here they are: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/i89obfqzcpzngf6/AABVluUEeUSbnVctOwU6T5Pya?dl=0

Pass: Jessy

On a side note I could not open the with CTools, only with BREESViewer. You just need to open the file and select export the models and the textures and DONE.

For future reference PLEASE don't password lock files.

Edit: Also I suggest using Brawl Box to open the files as they contain everything including animations.

RE: Dragon Quest Swords Models - Farlavor - 12-04-2014

Long time ago... I was used to rip the models from that game, and those was the best models I could ever gather, considering that it was the firstest set of models of DQ that are easily ripped by the easiest ripping method, getting Brres from the iso using Dolphin and converting with Brres viewer.

Although I must admit, that in these times, a few of those converted files became somehow glitchy (But were easy to solve as long as you use the proper export format).

BTW, The Brawlbox method I never used, but I think it may be better for those models.
Don't worry, I know you will get the models with full rigging of DQ swords creatures and NPCs (I did it, and I'm not so good at ripping stuff)... Just in case you don't know how, just search for the tutorial, it helped me a lot on my first day coming here.

Ripping Brres files isn't just only on DQ, there are several Wii games that supports that format and it is the most common method of ripping models here, and the only one I know best than any other (excluding using Noesis, QuickBMS, and 3D Ripper DX perhaps)

PS: I think I'm gonna get the models of DQ Swords and share them, just in case you really want it Jessy, becuz I can rip them all fully rigged as well and thanks to RTB I know how to export them as DAE. but please I need a little time, becuz I'm busy with other stuff. when I have time, I'll download the Wii iso and start my job. Lucky me the format is Brres, I love brres, so easy to rip, so easy to convert. Cute
