Get sprites from extracted APK file - ngu1231 - 02-09-2016

To get the sprites, just go to the res folder. You will see more folders, try finding those with .png files.
And for the sounds, do the same thing like I said before.

EDIT: Looks like I were wrong. Just some icons and .wav files.

The graphics might be in the cache if you think about it, just have to find a downloadable cache

Can you help...every file I see is an .xml file

Pvz2's sprites, sounds and many other files can be ripped via the TextureUnpacker made by 1Zulu (which was been in this website) you can also modify the obb via the OBBPatcher, which was made by the same creator of TextureUnpacker.
Try them out!

1. Apk/App without obb data
Go to Play Store and download "APK extractor" and then extract the app you want...
And then, go to your File manager! (I recommend ES File explorer) and go to your apk file!
Rename from .apk to .zip and you're done Wink
2. Extracting from obb file!
Go to (Android-->obb-->*com.gamefile....*)
And rename the file from .obb to .zip and you can extract the resource and you're done! (Again?)
3. File game
Go to Android file and find your game data and you're done, lol xD
But beware! Some games won't work with this! Well, that's it, hope you like it Wink

Where is the option to rename .apk files in Nox?

Use a file manager

RE: Rip Android games sprites! - iCalintz - 12-23-2017

I can't find the option to rename .OBB files in android. At least not one that I can find in Nox. I am using Es File explorer.

RE: Rip Android games sprites! - MatreroG - 01-02-2019

I could change the *.obb archives into *.zip and extract files from various games. But I can only see some videos and icons, the rest of the files are not in a valid format, or at least, they do not have a valid image extension (like *.png, *.gif,*.jpg,*.bmp, etc)
Any suggestions on how to continue...?

RE: Rip Android games sprites! - You Gotta be Joshing me - 01-28-2019

I prefer to download the .apk off the internet and then open it using 7-Zip. Just keep in mind that some files may be using proprietary file formats and can't be opened using any of the currently available sound/video/image/3D modeling programs that are available to the average consumer.

RE: Rip Android games sprites! - Deep Weeb - 09-08-2019

I can't find any .obb file in my Android/obb folder.
I see folders with the internal names of the apps, but I can't find anything inside of them.

RE: Rip Android games sprites! - Mereshka - 10-20-2019

Got a whole lots of files like that, but they're all shagged in some ways, and I'm not sure how to convert them into usable PNGs.

RE: Rip Android games sprites! - CoolVi88 - 11-26-2019

But how do I open .ipk files? Or I can convert to another file type?

You mean .ipa files? (The application files used in Iphones, etc.)  If it is .apk files. It's already been answered for you:
