RTB How are you doing with the 3DS Max Script?

Fixed the "node set" problem (except for a certain few that defy logic), still need to find the proper vertex information flags, and fix that "byte jump" in certain NPC models. In short, same as it was the last time you asked. Either way, if I can't fix the latter problem, I'll rip the problematic models manually and upload 'em myself.

Speaking of NPCs, I'll have some in the next update. Not all of them, due to the problem I mentioned above.

RTB I tried to import the Xerneas collada file into BrawlBox but it said Object reference is not set to an instance of an object.

It's not the same kind of Collada that BrawlBox accepts. You'll have to import the FBX or DAE into 3DS Max and export as an Autodesk Collada DAE file. That, and because Wii games like Brawl don't accept multiple texture references on a single mesh, you'll need to separate each texture into its own polygon group, with its own texture (in other words, drag-and-drop the texture onto the polygon group after separating to remove the multi-texture referencing).

I see you already have your next planned set. Any chance the set after it will include the following (from ones that are "Ripped, waiting for upload"). To be clear, I'm not requesting ones to rip, I'm only asking if certain Pokemon that you've already ripped will be in the next set.

#715: Noivern
#282: Gardevoir / Mega Gardevoir
#701: Hawlucha

I can't wait to have my in-game team to play around with! Thanks again for all your awesome work!

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - SylveonHime - 10-01-2014

RTB, if someone wanted to help you out with this model ripping project what kind of things would they need to know to help you make the public user-friendly tool? Or is that going to be something you want to do by yourself? (Not asking for me, because I know for a fact I can't help other than asking this in hopes that someone who can help does see your reply.)

And I know you already got to my requests, thank you so much by the way. If I can't request 3 more it is not a big deal to me at all, but if it is not a problem to do so I would like Skitty, Ninetails, and Arcanine if they have not been requested already.

Part of the reason why I haven't released those ones yet are because they've got a bit of a "reserve" on them. Some friends of mine wanted to use those models first for their projects for Garry's Mod, and asked if I can hang onto those until they release their versions. But after the 14th, I'll be uploading those models in particular to the site.

Well, I still need to figure out the problems (I think it's too technical for a newbie to figure out what needs fixing for each model), so I'll wait until I've got the script working for at least a good chunk of the models (if not everything) before letting the public have it. That way I shouldn't need to assist everyone with crash fixes and whatnot, only for the few that are finicky (like Yveltal was).

And yeah, once the first set of requests are done, then you're welcome to ask for a second set. Which would be right now, actually, considering I finished up Mightyena not too long ago.

I'd like to request Bayleef, Kangaskhan and Sneasel. Thanks a lot for your work.

Ah, excellent. The reason why I want those in particular is because I have a couple 3d printers and want to create little statues/figures of my team in 1/6th scale to go on my shelf. I found a few of them on other sites, but none of them are rigged like yours. It's a pain in the butt to pose a non-rig mesh, as I'm sure you know! Tongue

I'll be waiting patiently for October 14th then! Thanks again for all of your hard work. Smile

RTB I'm not asking for a request but can you add Dialga, Giratina, & Palkia to your next set?

Those three were the only NPCs that worked with my script right away, everyone else has that problem I was referring to earlier. I guess I'll take care of those later, I'll need to write a bunch of things manually for their models specifically.

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - Garamonde - 10-02-2014

Since my three requests have been done, I think I'll put in for Bisharp, Electrode, and Cacturne next.

No pressure, of course!!

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - Lilothestitch - 10-02-2014

RTB How long does it take to upload the models?
