Hopefully someone else could figure it out in due time. It's the only thing stopping me from porting the models to GMod and SFM.

The Home rips saved my *** since I believe none of the new Pokemon were ripped from LA. Thanks a lot for your work as always.

PLA and SV Animations can be ripped through toolbox, GFBANM and TRANM are really similar

I've downloaded the animations from the first post already, but I'm only sixteen and I don't work yet. I can't pay for 3DS Max, and I'm just anxious about if anyone's going to make the animation importer tool yet.

I have 3ds max, if you help me with this stuff I can help you with it, I'm completely lost and do not have much time to investigate bc of the amount of work I have.

RE: Pokémon Model Ripping Project - Random Talking Bush - 12-02-2022

I went ahead and repackaged all of the Scarlet / Violet models into regular ZIP archives now instead of 7Z, hopefully that takes care of the false-positives reported earlier.

Are you using another version of Toolbox? I have loaded the latest publicly available version of Toolbox and attempted to load up the trmdl and tranm files. It should have loaded up the model viewer like GFBMDL and GFBANM does and I should also get a tooltip option to export the animation as an smd. But I am not getting the model viewer to show up when I load either the trmdl or tranm nor that I am getting an tooltip option to export the animation as an smd file.

It won't load those files. You have to export the trmdl skeleton only as an fbx with Max or Blender, then replace a model from the gfxpack with Toolbox unselecting "Use Original Bones". Then rename the .tranm to .gfbanm and it will load the animation for that model and you can export it as .smd

I was able export the trmdl skeleton as an FBX just fine. Issue is I have no option to replace the trmdl with the fbx skeleton I have exported nor do I have an option to rename the .tranm file in the trpak file.

I mean I can also unpack the trapk and rename the tranm to a gfbanm from there, but now I have the issue to repack into a trpak file and said issue to replace the trmdl with the fbx skeleton.

I have the same issue with some of the Pokémon gfbanm files. Some of them don’t play properly and I’m having trouble with opening tranm.

I probably should have mentioned first that you need to replace the SV Pokemon in a SwSh gfxpack

These are the steps I follow to get an smd from tranm

Okay, that makes more sense. So I need to use SwSh gfpak not the SV trpak. Got it.

Anyways, I was able to export the animation and import it into blender successfully.

Many thanks! Wink

Does this apply to the Dialga and Palkia Origin Formes as well and does this work for Pokémon Legends Arceus?

You can generate smd files for both PLA/SV the same way, this workaround was originally found for PLA and was mentioned in here several months back by someone.

RE: Pokémon Model Ripping Project - Aggron26 - 12-03-2022

Hey everyone. So I’ve been extremely interested in this project for a while now but lack any technical know-how with 3D. Ohana3DS was easy enough to view SM models and animations but can anyone please describe what exactly is the process to view SV models (and animations if that’s possible), particularly in Blender? I’ve browsed this thread a lot and people have achieved it, I just don’t even know where begin beyond downloading the zip file haha. Thanks a lot, keep up the godly work.

Nice but I don’t remember who did it.

Hey RTB! Did you upload the sandwich ingredient models? if so where are they?

RE: Pokémon Model Ripping Project - Lillipad_Frog - 12-04-2022

Hello All! My name is Lill and I'm joining your project.
I take a video game development class for unity, and as my year long project I will be focusing on creating an upgraded version of pokemon ami/camp/picnic/refresh for all my fellow players who love raising pokemon and loved nintendogs. So far my scope is very small (only including Dreepy, Hatenna, toxel, and impidimp, my favorites) as my GPA is quite literally at stake. It will obv. be finished by the end of the school year because of it.
I'm starting out with Dreepy, coding mechanics and everything with our little jet ghost first (sadly, dreepy might end up being the only pokemon you can play with in this game), which meant I was so so thankful that its evolution (which included dreey's model if not its animations) is available on this site. I would kiss the person who did that, much love to you. In an effort to help out others and give back to the community that is helping me out here I'll be uploading any new animations, backgrounds, models, etc. for everyone here to use (I am a beginner though, so they may not be perfect). Depending on copy right and the ability to host such a service I may even be giving out this game to the world if it's presentable.
Thank you so much, I look forward to working with you all.

please friend help me to be able to make sprites like this, I tried reading several parts of the post but I don't understand because I'm very new, could you share a step for dummies? I will thank you in my soul.
