You'll have to extract them from the .bin files found in the links on Page 1

RE: Pokémon 3DS/Switch Model Ripping Project - Rukio - 01-06-2020

Alright let's see if I understand this.
I need:

- 3DsMax  Done
- The PokemonSwitch_GFBMDL .zip for 3DsMAX for Sword and Shield Downloaded it and haven't imported it into 3DSMax yet.
- To find a Pokemon Sword and Shield dump, or use Yuzu Emu with the game files to make a dump. Dumped the files. Only seeing gfbpmcatalogs for Pokemon
- Figuring out how to convert everything to useable files like fbx and a png texture.
And then.. tadaa? I saw SwitchToolbox thrown around for extra textures on stuff.
It's like a Pokemon adventure except the soon-to-be trainers know way more than me.

My main goal is to get foliage and outside things like fences and decorations.

Edit: What do I do to see things like towns? I'm seeing Bin files but.. not sure what those are about and how to open them or get textures

RE: Pokémon 3DS/Switch Model Ripping Project - Random Talking Bush - 01-09-2020

Added the new "teaser" models from the v1.10 update for Sword/Shield to the models folder (Slowpoke, Galarian Slowpoke, Avery and Klara).

Not yet, and even if anything were to be submitted, it won't be accepted until the end of the month at the earliest so that people can see all of the new Pokémon in-game first before the floodgates open up for the new content on the Resources.

Any clue about gfbanims yet?

RE: Pokémon 3DS/Switch Model Ripping Project - jugol - 01-11-2020

I know this thread is just for models but I need a few stat files from the 1.1.0 update and I don't know where else to ask. They should be at romfs\bin\pml and subfolders. Could anyone provide them please? Thanks a lot!

RE: Pokémon 3DS/Switch Model Ripping Project - BlobVanDam - 01-12-2020

Has anyone ripped any models for environments? Specifically I was hoping to find the models to recreate the wild battle background of route 1/2 (Wedgehurst or Postwick), with the grass, and trees and buildings etc.

Seems upon extraction the UVMaps are not coming with? I'm using SwitchToolbox to grab the textures.
Exporting the model with OBJ doesn't bring the rig with it. However it does with FBX.

Where am I going wrong on this?

Does renaming the texture files cause problems?
Exporting as OBJ doesn't give you the bone armature.
Is FBX the wrong way to go?

OBJ files are meant to have no rig, that's the entire point to that format.
As for a solution; I recommend exporting .dae in Switch Tool Box.

Do the 3D Object/DAE files contain animation files like the bin?

I really like the Sword/Shield models but I they don't have animations like the gen 1-7 models it's useless to me. Help?

Nobody has been able to pull the animations yet. Trust me, I need them too so I've got my fingers crossed haha

I've seen these on every pokemon model, file type ending with _nor so presumably normal maps, but they don't seem to function the same way at all. are these something slightly different?

RE: Pokémon 3DS/Switch Model Ripping Project - Serena - 02-14-2020

Are you planning to remove any Pokemon who has 3DS textures that are in Gmod Workshop when Expansion Pass come out? Because since other packs never updated after the release of Sword/Shield, it will be outdated.

RE: Pokémon 3DS/Switch Model Ripping Project - SporemanJake - 02-16-2020
