They're in a/0/8/3, when you unpack them Maps are _BG and Map Objects are _AS. _AC are the NPCs that appear on the maps, but that doesn't matter much since they all have their own garc. 4_BG/4.bin in the BG files are the model, dunno if it's just my dump, or the program I used to unpack them but some map models seem to be missing.

Thank you!

I can't open the file in Ohana3ds. Is this the right one or is there another program to open it?

wait, now you have even the models with rig? where are them? Ouch! I got lost between page 70 and 126 ... I don't know what kind of things are possible now lol ....

and just one question if someone is able to help me, what process do you make with the models to make them suitable to upload to the page? I would like to help to upload some models but I don't know what exactly do you do... :/

btw this is a render I did with vray and the models thanks to this page (models, textures and animations) ^^
hope you like it :v

What do you mean "with the rig"?

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS/Sun/Moon Model Ripping Project - DecaTilde - 05-02-2017

Can someone help me, please? I tried exporting animations from .bch files I renamed from .bin files with Ohana3DSRebirth, even the hacky workaround, but whenever I tried, it keeps giving me the "Unhandled exception/Microsoft.DirectX could not load" error.

Here's the ZIP folder with the renamed .bch files (and the ZIP folder with the .bin files).

Thanks. Wink

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS/Sun/Moon Model Ripping Project - Yunpol - 05-02-2017

IIRC, you shouldn't be using .bch files for Ohana3DSRebirth as they only support .bin files.

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS/Sun/Moon Model Ripping Project - DecaTilde - 05-02-2017

I also tried exporting animations from the .bin files before renaming them, but I still got the same error. It's a good thing I also included a link to the .bin ZIP folder.

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS/Sun/Moon Model Ripping Project - Yunpol - 05-02-2017

You shouldn't have to rename them at all. If you are planning to use .bch files, you should download the Ohana program that is hosted on GBATemp as I believe those versions of Ohana support .bch files, but not .bin files.

that if you now have the models properly rigged, I just read something about rigged models in the thread but I'm not sure if they talked about it... (I went some pages back but I found nothing)

Well I did create this. It's a customizeble rig for the male player for S/M

RE: Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS/Sun/Moon Model Ripping Project - Charmaleizard - 05-03-2017

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but if you want to find the character rig, it's back on page 122.

On another note, how would one separate a skeleton and animations from a model?  (I am trying to rip the skeleton of the in battle Brendan model for reference)

Does that customizable rig work on Maya?

No. I only have C4D

If anyone wants explanation on how the format works just let me know. It's pretty different from the one used on Sun/Moon, and IMO more complicated to get working.

With OR/AS, does this mean X/Y are also supported?

Yes they are!
