RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - Kaphotics - 10-06-2014

Ahh, I've been used to 'no portions of the ROM or copyrighted content' on other boards.

Volcanion - Includes parsed model (obj) and textures, as well as the original PC/PT's which are basically container files. Does not have any bones/rigging as it was parsed from the original python variant

As an added bonus, sm4sh Lucario - an entirely different format of BCH and has not been converted... Smile

It's interesting how the format is very similar, yet at the same time very different than the BCH format used by both Pokémon X/Y and Kirby Triple Deluxe. That being said, I'll have a surprise related to that soon... Cute

that is very interesting... Would think they'd use a different format for 7.0+... guess not!

Hey guys I'm new here, I specifically made an account for these pokemon models/rigs, I am an animator and have been trying to find rigs and models of the X Y pokemon models. Thank you guys soo much haha. I guess the question I have is, in the fbx/ripped files, do they have facial animation stuff? From what I looked at they don't, but I know that the animations of the game had them.

Thanks

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - The 100 Mega Shock! - 10-07-2014

Pretty much every Pokemon and character appear to have textured eyes which are switched between by changing the UV offsets. Quite a few also have their pupils on a seperate mesh placed over the face with alpha masking. Depending on the Pokemon if they have a suitably placed jaw it's rigged into the skeleton otherwise they also use textures for the mouth.

Wow this is coming along pretty far already! I'm always excited to see the next batch. RTB, you're amazing, as are the others who help with such things. I eagerly await the next update, and am antsy to see when trainers are finally ripped. I really want to see Sycamore, Xerosic, and the other Flare Members. They have so much...character, haha.

I can't wait for more Pokémon X/Y Models.

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - Lesserfruit - 10-08-2014

So, I have one last request. Tiring work, it must be. But I'd also like to point out a possible flaw in one model, Porygon-Z. He seems to have broken bones, literally. I can't pose him at all! I was wondering if that's how he was rigged, or if something went wrong and I have to make custom bones for him.

Anyways, last request is Swalot, Gulpin, and Bronzong.

Thanks for your help, as I've said, I can't thank you enough for getting these models. Smile

P.S. I forgot about Aron, if you could find him somewhere in the files, that'd be great. c:

How many times do we have to tell you that posts like these do not contribute anything and are more annoying than anything?

If you don't have a worthy contribution to a topic, please don't post. Warned.

Porygon-Z is rigged fine and well, he just doesn't have many bones.

If you're getting bored then find something else to do rather then harass one of our members.

Like go post a topic or find other threads to post in, we have an entire forum at your disposal to use.

@_______@

Nate, you could have just replied to his PM instead of dragging it out here irrelevantly too, you know.

As for Lilo, just relax. Practice adding more worthful content to your post and also let people do their thing. I can understand wanting something really badly, but no need to nag about it (even passively) every 5 minutes, it'll get done.

If anyone else derails this thread or nags anymore, I will continue to hand out warnings.

This discussion ends now. Back to the main topic.

Also sorry in advance for that my friend. Will keep noted.
As for lilo, let RTB Do his Ripping thing. One of the best rippers on this site.
Don't worry.

RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - Gors - 10-08-2014

I will clean up this thread. This is a Model Ripping Thread, not a sugarcoated drama show.

Note that I will not delete the posts, but just hide them to keep things relevant and tidy. Back on topic.
