Ash's Sprite Dump - -Ash- - 07-16-2014
I've been up all night, playing shovel knight. Like I have been for the past 2 weeks. Then an idea hit me, why don't I make my own shovel knight boss. After a while I realized the perfect mix of stupidity and genius and made, Nighty Knight.

I have serious problems.EDIT: Just realized the shoulders aren't level... gonna fix that eventually.

I just decided to take it slightly more seriously, actually make a decent sprite and boss design. So yeah, here is Nighty Knight v2.0

His name is the first thing that has made me laugh out loud in quite a while and I love his design.
I kinda wish you hadn't removed the clock from his body though, as it was a nice touch and a pretty important trait.

I had a hard time trying to make a serious design mix with silly, so what I decided to do was make the clock a hammer, clock. Because some clocks have hammers.(witty jokes hahahaha) But yeah, if you have any ideas that I can put the click part of the main body I would be pretty happy.

Some move ideas? Maybe those can be sillier since his design is a little serious.
"Bet you didn't... COUNT, on this!" (Sheep stampede.)
He yells "Light's Out!" and the game goes into the dark silhouette style like in Plague Knight's stage.
"It's BED TIME!" Beds fall from ceiling.
Taunt? "Early to bed and early to rise, makes a knight quick to deliver the Shovel's demise!"

heh, like the idea. I had a similar idea literally just a few seconds ago, with one of his attacks being "Stop, hammer time." hahahaha i'm so witty I should wear a golden medal at all times showing how witty I am. (I am emotionally hurting myself with my jokes)

Today I have this quirky character that started as a really awful robot master design that turned into a cute mad scientist that is basically sentient goop in a jar. His name is Ruck, look at him bounce.

A much better image showing what he was meant to be. Not animated this time. I still think the sprite is rather decent.

Not exactly proud (mainly cause it is an edit so I can learn the style) but it was kinda fun to work on. Inuyasha in Jump Ultimate Stars style.

Started working on a concept game idea since I made Ruck, ignore the lack of clothing on the humans, its like that for the reason of different things equipped show on the character. I am going to try to limit myself to the palette I made at the top of the image but I might change that :I anyways we have; Ruck, Ruck Jar, Ruck Slime, Ghost thing, Man and Woman character. May or may not become an actual game, depending if I learn to code anything.
