Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash:
Mario
Mario
Green Sprixie Princess
Green Sprixie Princess
Mega Mushroom
Mega Mushroom
Tennis Racquets
Tennis Racquets

More stuff from other games later when I'm less lazy. Would probably have some more Mario Tennis models but others are ripping apart the game and submitting the models without even bothering to ask if I'm already working on those or not...

I use the respective textures as both Specular Color and Specular Level for the materials, and tweak the Glossiness values where necessary.

RTB, would you like to help us rip models from Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon? The models uses BCH files like Pokémon XYORAS.

Oh, I keep forgetting to ask, you mentioned a while back that you would be ripping "Bit Trip Presents: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien" models. Did you ever manage to get around to that?

when can I expect character rips? I know it will take a bit longer than intended, but it would be nice to have an idea of when they'll be uploaded.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I apply my Specular Map as Color, Level and Glossiness, and add the lighting, and it ends up being rendered like this:

Please help me out :/

I think texture order plays a role in the rendering process but idk which order they're in.

Eventually. I actually have to rewrite a number of things for my importer, looking back at it, because it doesn't work correctly with most of the characters (such as CaptainVideo and Unkle Dill) for some reason.

Anyway, I wrote a MaxScript model importer for Mario Party 10 / Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival / Wii Party U. Gets rigging too because that's how I do things. Smile

You'll need to run this QuickBMS script on the *.BIN files to extract the model files first (Wii Party U's are already extracted).

(EDIT: Quickfix'd the script to fix a few broken models.)

Dunno which version of 3ds Max you use, but they fixed SetNormal in version 2015 (which is a lot faster than the edit normals method)

I've only got 2010 installed right now, so I wouldn't be able to test that out for myself.

*off to check out Bowser and Dry Bowser from MP10*

Awesome work as usual!

Both of 'em need the UV mapping on a few polygon groups fixed up, either by mirroring the textures (Dry Bowser) or using UVW XForm to shrink the eyelids to a single quarter (Bowser). Easy enough to do.

I have no idea how or whty they do that shit to their models lol. Seems so unnecessary. XD

It's mainly for optimization purposes, from what I've seen.

(EDIT: Oh. Some single-bind objects like Koopa Troopa's eyelids are in the wrong spot. I'll have to fix that up.)

RE: Random Talking Bush's Model Museum - MandL27 - 01-17-2016

You got any plans to keep ripping Splatoon models? (especially clothing and weapons)

RE: Random Talking Bush's Model Museum - Lilothestitch - 01-17-2016

RTB, quick question. Have tou ripped any models from JADE Engine games like Beyond Good & Evil for example? I apologize for asking if it is too much to ask.
