Surprisingly, no! Lemurboy12 still hasn't responded! xD

I'll look into them some more tomorrow if I have time, though I doubt I'll be able to actually do anything with em' considering my limited knowledge of Wii file formats. I did see something about 3D .mod files for the DS recently, though... so maybe the Wii uses the same format? If i find out anything I'll let you know. Wink
I just used 3D Ripper DX and replaced a model with Mario. All I wanted was that Mario model.

Woah! Surprise Thanks for the info, lemurboy! Big Grin Sorry if it seemed like I was trying to make fun of you for not responding in my previous post.

Believe it or not, I was actually just about to post that I had successfully gotten 3DRipperDX to work and extract some of the models right when I saw this! xD ...I guess I did it correctly, then! Thanks for helping out anyway, though! I appreciate it! Smile

Here's a screenshot of a successful test rip in Blender:

As you can see, the dimensions are incorrect and the textures didn't export correctly. ...Oh, they're there! They just aren't... right. They won't open in anything for whatever reason, including Blender! I suppose they're corrupted? But they have a decently large file size, so... something's in there. I'll send the textures to anyone who's interested to see if they can open them.

I'll try and re-size the model rip and get those textures working, although keep in mind that I am limited as I *cough* don't have 3DS Max as my trial expired *cough*.

EDIT:

It's still a little warped and the textures are still un-readable, but.... Smile

EDIT2:

A quick (And terrible) test-render. It isn't warped now! Smile Just gotta' get those darn textures...

FINAL EDIT: Sorry for so many edits. Just don't want to double-post. Tongue I got the textures! Big Grin Some of them didn't come out correctly, but hey! They converted alright once I used a dds converter that actually understand this type of dds (Both Blender and Paint.Net surprisingly didn't understand these! And they support dds!), so I got em' if anyone wants them. Big Grin (But you don't want them, right? Wink ) They're still not anywhere close enough to being release-able (The size is still meh, the polys are messed up in some areas, and the textures are glitchy in quite a few spots. Plus no rig/animations as far as I'm aware.), but they did rip, they do work, and I am willing to share what I currently have if anyone can't wait and reealllyy wants it. Smile

Gonna' stop working on this for tonight, so... yeah. Big thanks to Lemurboy12 and iminzc for suggesting I use 3D Ripper DX! Smile

Thanks Smile however Dolphin runs too slow for me when using 3D ripper so i never tried it. guess i'll have to depend on you for the models Tongue (unless theres a way to fix that) and the screenshots look good!

Thanks. And, no problem! Smile I'll send em' to you once I've got them in a "usable" state, i.e. they don't have terrible, glitch-y textures or weird polys. But not tonight, though. Wink  It's getting late...

Oh, probably should've asked this earlier, but what models do you want, exactly? I'll try and rip as many as I can, just wondering which ones you want in particular.

As for Dolphin being slow, you really only need to have the game open long enough so that you can get to a part that contains a model you want and press F12. For example, if you want the first level's terrain as a model, just get to the first level, then press F12 and it (Along with absolutely everything else remotely 3D in that scene, including the 3D cursor! xD) will be captured and exported as a model. Your PC doesn't need to be too fast to rip them as it's a one-time process. You just have to press F12 once and wait for it to finish exporting. It may take longer, but as long as your PC can play the game at around 10-15 fps, it should be fast enough to complete exporting everything in about 5-10 minutes.

Though if it can't, I completely understand. I used to have nothing but a old Windows 7 laptop as my main PC (Not that long ago! I still had it until around May 2014, actually! xD) which had... specs? I think. I think it had specs. xD Dolphin ran at 2 fps on lowest settings in linux with absolutely nothing else open (Including background tasks, some even necessary for certain OS features.)...

We're talking single-cored Celeron with a mere 2 gigs of RAM and an integrated intel GPU here. It wasn't exactly the fastest thing in the world... (Even file browsing is incredibly laggy! And I'm not talking about the time it takes to read/write files. I mean just waiting for the flie explorer window to open!) so, yeah. If your PC isn't capable of ripping models, I won't hold it against you. Tongue

Anyway, I'm going to log off for tonight, so if you post anything, well, that's why I'm not seeing it. Night! (Or whatever time it is where you live. Tongue)

That'd be nice Smile Though its fine whatever models you feel like ripping in all honesty, but if i had to pick it would be appreciated to get the model for Olimar, the pikmin, and bulborbs. Thats all i can think of for now. As for Dolphin and 3D ripper though, it runs at a merely 2 fps and i just don't have the patience to wait all that long for it thanks for the information otherwise.

Yea that sounds like a pretty old laptopTongue I just recently got a new one as well but its still not the greatest but a huge upgrade from a laptop that's disc drive was broken, was missing keys(and the inputs on the membrane under the keyboard for the keys was fried also i believe), and having had water spilled all over it: Tongue that was a mess to clean Cry but other than that night to you also! Lol. Yeah, it was pretty old. I totally understand about the laptop thing. If you're getting 2 fps, I definitely don't blame you for not wanting to extract the models!

I've been busy today so I didn't get as much done as I wanted to, but I did manage to texture Olimar's model! Smile

His model is un-rigged and has low-polys (As the Wii/Gamecube had some hardware limitations.), meaning it won't look astounding unless you play with it a bit (For some reason a subsurface modifier messes everything up, so I couldn't smooth him. I'll look into this.), and you'll have to make your own bones or else you won't be able to pose him properly, but here ya' go:

...Yeah, and I'll fix the light on this helmet. Tongue

Sure, np! Smile I'll work on some more whenever I get a chance.

Also, I'm not sure of it, but I think there might just be a way to increase the poly count without Blender freaking out like it does when I apply a sub-serf modifier. I'll update the Olimar model if I successfully do that. Wink

Sorry. I've been busy. Tongue

Here's a red pikmin: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yzztlt05rd7fh4d/redpikmin.dae?dl=0
And here's Olimar's Blender file in-case you're interested. Now with actually working helmet light! Big Grin https://www.dropbox.com/s/rdcx3p529eot0s0/olimar.blend?dl=0

Also, from now on any Pikmin models I post will go in my Dropbox's "Pikmin Models" folder, which is located here. The Olimar model has been moved there as well. It probably broke the old link, too. :/

Still haven't found a way to successfully increase the poly-count (The model goes insane when I use a sub-serf or mult-res modifier. Perhaps in another modelling program like 3DS Max? As previously mentioned I'm limited to Blender, soooo...), and my rigging skills are very limited which is why I haven't rigged any of these models thus-far. (Sorry bout' that! Very Sad )

Well, sure, but as of now you can't really do anything with them seeing as no one's cracked the format (At least to my knowledge.). Tongue

If you think you can figure out the format (Hex editing, bro! I understand a bit of hex... but not enough to crack an unknown format, sadly. Sad ), be my guest! That'd be.. well... that'd be awesome! Big Grin

Here's a level: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7svepq6mlvegl75/forest.mod?dl=0 (Or at least, I think it is. :/), and here's a folder containing pellet-related model files: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2uzjns9nnr779z0/AABK9jpuPqgHFE7-KpvU8WL7a?dl=0 (Including UV-Animations and even *gulp*binary files*gulp*! Very Sad )

Sigh, this is a tough one. It's a variation of the BMD format similar to Luigi's Mansion.
Not sure if I can do this one.

Well, thanks for trying, at least! You definitely contributed more than I did!  Surprise
Was that a screenshot of the forest .mod file? Or the pellet model? My guess is that the static models have a different format then the scenes.

Though, I could definitely be wrong about that.

Also, I just noticed that I apparently forgot to mention that these are models from the Wii "New Play Control" version of Pikmin. (Stupid me. X| ) ...Would that make a difference? (Probably... Ouch!) Or maybe they're the same models as the Gamecube version? Blank

Gamecube version has same fileformat.
