Calling Pokemon Gen 7 announcement. So that they'll be ready either by next Spring or Fall.

...but it says UPDATES on Wii U and 3DS games. So it's no actually-new news - think more like release dates and stuff for things they already announced.

Though, I've got this feeling they're going to announce the second set of Animal Crossing amiibo cards with a release date of next Friday somewhere inbetween. :/

- Information on Miitomo, and an actual pronounceable US name
- Actual detail on "Nintendo Account"
- MAYBE very basic info on the Nintendo/Universal Parks project
- M&L Paper Jam release date, maybe pushed up to mid-December for Christmas sales
- more Xenoblade Chronicles X info
- Apology for Starfox Zero delay, additional features shown, new release date
- Release date for FE Fates, more info on release, possible announcement of special edition console (like the Awakening one, but...you know. "new")
- Additional Federation Force info, release date
- MORE Splatoon updates???
- Nindies block, new update for Shovel Knight, amiibo launch date to coincide with EVEN MORE amiibo launches (probably Animal Crossing)
- ANOTHER Smash Bros. DLC pack [Smash Ballot results will probably be on its own]
- ZELDA WII U RELEASE DATE (!!!!!!!!)

ye ive always played it safe on these announcements but this is the safest yet

Europe says they're finally getting the Collectable Badge Center for the 3DS. Maybe the US will announce that we're getting it too for this Direct.

Who else has actually been anxious to get the Collectable Badge Center too?

RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Ark Kuvis - 11-10-2015

Metroid Prime Federation Force for over a half hour just to fuel the fanboys' fire.

There's no way that'll happen until at least a few months after Z is finally released (which with all the Zygarde movie stuff coming out a month or so ago, we can be pretty certain is happening since it's right in line with how it's happened previously, with a movie hyping the mascot legendary/ies of a third version)

RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Jermungandr - 11-10-2015

It makes sense for them to announce new Smash characters sometime soon. They need to get the game hype back up into the public eye for Christmas for those who haven't bought the game yet.

yeah, im keeping my hopes down for this new direct. i learned my lesson at e3 for getting too hyped about this kind of stuff

RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - BullockDS - 11-10-2015

I'm not expecting a lot; items that will most satisfy me for this Direct will be the Smash Ballot results or at least announcement of a reveal date (since I've lost a lot of interest in Sm4sh recently), Zelda U info (this is the big one for me), and something tributary to Iwata (this one is a shoe-in).

So the Badge Arcade is now available for the US too but I'm not able to get it. Why?

By the way, this is what I'm talking about:https://youtu.be/J2KEDGzJurY

It's a free download.

I had to actually search for it in the eShop.

It's a free download. Of course! Now that I have it though I think that rabbit's actually more vile than Tom Nook. At least Tom Nook doesn't try to actually vacuum the (real!) money out of your pockets for ICONS. That stupid fucking rabbit is Nintendo's WORST VILLAIN YET.

Yep that's right it's $1 per 5 chances (though, you can win free plays in the practice area - but if you want like a whole set of something, you've gotta throw down a few dollars to make sure you can use all those plays. It's really silly IMO and while it's a cute thing, the game really REALLY shoves it down your throat that you need to spend really REAL money)

RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Koopaul - 11-11-2015

Real money for fake badges. Actually, its real money for CHANCES to get fake badges. Pretty dispicable. Atleast they give you free tries everyday.

RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Helmo - 11-11-2015

This is the most disgusting thing Nintendo has made.

From what I've read, you only get free PRACTICE tries every day. You can't actually keep anything you earn during those free tries.

I don't completely hate the idea of micro transactions if done right, like for example if Pokemon Go has standard pokeballs free and thats all you get thats fine. Pay a dollar for a great ball? More for Ultra? Makes sense.

As long as it doesn't completely fuck you like this game, I mean a real grab machine costs a dollar and you have a chance to actually win something.

RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Koh - 11-11-2015

I prefer it when it's just for cosmetic things that don't give anyone an edge over someone else, like in old MMOs like Maple Story. Spending money to get premium hairstyles and such, or other fashion related things. EXP Boosters are a slight edge, but everyone has to grind anyway; it just reduces how much of it you have to do. That kind of stuff is fine; you can not spend any money and still progress no problem, see all content, and still be up to par compared to everyone else.
