Videogame story time.
I have an associate who works in Game and today he asked me to go over there so I could fix one of the computers they had in their office, since, I suppose, he wanted to save a few pennies by not finding an actual technician. So, I went over and messed around with the thing until it was working well enough.
Once that was done he showed me into a seperate room with three boxes in a corner, which all had "2010 Q4 not sold" scrawled on with a marker, with a note stapled to one saying to reprice them at £5 each, new.
He opened the boxes to reveal hundreds of Other M copies. They had been sitting there all this time, unwanted.
We laughed.

It just occurred to me today that Catsuit Toad has an uncanny resemblance to Robespierre from Gay Purr-ee.

How about this instead? One of the teachers here at Fullsail, his company did the sound for this game, and he showed us some gameplay. It looks so fucking awesome. This is the game TSR was born to mass play.
He said the game's coming out within the next few months.

My other 360 controller's shoulder buttons seem to be on the way out too. I've made a slight modification that has them working again, only now they don't audibly click and are incredibly sensitive. It's better than them only registering 50% of the time I suppose.
I'm considering buying an XB1 controller soon. Although, apparently the PC drivers have issues and some games flat out refuse to acknowledge it, so I don't know.
Update: Controller #2 is now dead.

I'll be honest I was kind of iffy about Kojima working on Silent Hill when I first heard about it ages ago, mostly because he tends to be a bit ... um ... quirky? For lack of a better word? I mean I'm sure he could do a good job with it I just have some concerns ...
But Guillermo del Toro on the billing ... okay, NOW you have my undivided attention. At the very least this game is promising to have some awesome monster design. Not like that shit they shoveled at us in Downp- ugh, I can't even type out the name without vomiting a little. Seriously, what the hell even happened with that game.

Candyman is definitely my favourite character. This looks really awesome though, I'm definitely gonna try get this as soon as I can (probably can't at launch though). Reminds me a bit of Beach Ball mode in Tekken 3

I have an Xbone controller now.
It seems... Wonderful. I've only played with it for half an hour but I'm really liking it so far. More details to come after I've spent more time using it.
