If they ever made a sequel to DK64, they would absolutely need to make another DK Rap in the intro. My god, it would be the biggest blunder in gaming history to make sequel to DK64 and not have a DK Rap in there somewhere.

I like them both. I like the way the GameCube song emphasizes the different characteristics of the Kongs (I just wish that one part wasn't censored), but I like the funky, easy rhythm of the N64 one as well.

OH MY GOD SAME HERE
The beats and rhythm sound soooooooo much better on Melee than they do in DK64. DK64's rhythm has always sounded bland to me.
