Gen 3 is the generation I never really experienced, so I am actually looking forward to this. I'll probably get the version my best friend doesn't get, that's usually what I do.

Hopefully you can walk with your Pokemon a la HeartGold/SoulSilver in THREEEE DEEEEEEEEEEE

I also hope the other trainers get their own entrance animation, like Black and White 2 did from Black and White. I was surprised to see that on the Gen 6 games, the only trainers that didn't come in still-art style, and had a unique entrance animation and pokeball toss animation were the players, rivals, and Team Flare. Not even the Champion had that, LOL.

I see many people in this thread saying that they skipped Gen 3.

Am I the only one who didn't skip Gen 3, and skipped Gen 5 instead?

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Paladin - 05-08-2014

Am I the only one who skipped gen 2 and played it after gen 3?

nope! i did that. i only played gen 5 until after i played gen 6 because i spent the entirety of gen 5 waiting for pokemon gray.

hahaha, haha.

ha...

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Omega - 05-08-2014

I will get the new Ruby for sure...it doesn't have nothing to do with my name, no sir.

RE: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Helmo - 05-08-2014

based on this "new world" stuff

I guess they're gonna be sequels like black 2/white 2?

That sounds pretty great really

Exactly the same case with me. I only played Gen 5 to complete my Gen 6 Pokedex and to transfer my Gen 4 Pokemon. I now have my Shiny Magikarp in glorious 3D!... along with the one I chain-fished.

My brother wants Omega Ruby, so I'll get Alpha Sapphire. I hope the new Pokemon are more than just the possible Mega Groudon and Mega Kyogre.

I wonder what the story differences will be.

I did that too, ha ha.

Also, I've seen a lot of people going for Alpha Sapphire, despite the other being called OMEGA Ruby.

I mean, how come almost everyone picks Alpha over freaking Omega?

That's like picking A instead of Z*. I mean, A is cool and all, but Z is WAY cooler.
*That's literally the case, since you know, alpha is the first letter of the greek alphabet while omega is the last one. HUEHUE *snort*

Sorry, had to get that nitpick out of the way.

what if

pokemon snapfari 2
instead of the usual safari
and you completely utilize the 3DS's motion mapping and 3D camera

I never buy both halves of a Pokemon game, actually. For Red and Blue, I got Blue. Gold and Silver, Gold. Ruby and Sapphire, Sapphire. Diamond and Pearl, Diamond. X and Y, X. Since I'm not one of those people who likes to collect all of the Pokemon, I just like to stick to one half.

I just get the third games, since they're almost always the better versions.

Yellow was superior, though had a limited start. Crystal was superior in every way. Emerald was superior in every way. Platinum was superior in every way. Black and White 2...although sequels, are superior in terms of content.
