Okay... I finally got the flute that may awake the sleeping Pokemon. This is really cool and I want to use it right now, but I'll wait until tomorrow for that. Thanks for keeping up with me, and see ya soon!

You wouldn't have been able to catch it anyway. If you were to attempt to throw a ball at it, it'd would just dodge it. You can only defeat it.

Not on the first generation. If a box was full, you had to go to the PC to switch to a new box, and the number of items allowed to carry in your bag was limited.

Honestly that "Generation argument stuff" is about the Pokémon, but... yea R/S/E and beyond did have certain improved mechanics such as the PC at least.
