which makes my point...?

they're pretty much average in size, but knuckles has stick arms compared to them.

So you had issues with Knuckles breaking the strongman stereotype?

I already did. Tongue

RE: Sonic Boom - Zero Kirby - 02-13-2014

Eh, I dunno. I kinda like the new designs (even if the legs give '06 a run for its money) and the game itself might be cool as long as it doesn't take anything from Lost World. I'm open to new interpretations of just about anything, really, as long as it's interesting.

As for the TV show, from what leaked plots I've seen (and I'm taking them with a mountain of salt), it sounds like Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Which I really like, so... The animation also seems pretty good, though Sonic did look really weird running straight at the camera.

Here was the reference.

RE: Sonic Boom - Sunlight - 02-14-2014

That kinda made me realize how little Sonic looks like an actual Hedgehog... Back in the days the spike on his back was basically connected with the ones on his head, but now that he's taller it looks more like spiky hair and a shark fin to me.

I would say it's more so that Knuckles physically was stick arms and legs and it made absolutely no sense that he was as strong as he was.

RE: Sonic Boom - Iceman404 - 02-14-2014

I actually preferred it like that, it's not like we have to have even the most basic logic in the Sonic universe anyways. Something about a character who's visually very unlikely to be powerful is pretty cool to me, and it also lets him not look absolutely ridiculous when he starts running through loops and gliding.

RE: Sonic Boom - Kriven - 02-14-2014

Should we also give him skin flaps to explain how he glides?

RE: Sonic Boom - NICKtendo DS - 02-14-2014

He glides using his dreads. No joke.

Dude, I don't think you meant to come up with something awesome, BUT HE'D TOTALLY LOOK EVEN MORE LIKE A WWE WRESTLER, like his skin flaps would look like the streams some wrestlers have on their costume Cool

RE: Sonic Boom - Iceman404 - 02-14-2014

He glides by trapping air under his dreads, this was explained somewhere around the Sonic 3 times.

RE: Sonic Boom - Kriven - 02-14-2014

I assumed it was Master Emerald powers >.>;

RE: Sonic Boom - TomGuycott - 02-14-2014

Just say with the redesign it's DBZ style flying, but he's too bulky to get beyond a glide because he sucks at it.
