Extracting files from a .ISO? [Stupid question] - josh98 - 10-12-2013

Alright, this may be an extremely obvious thing to do, but I'm having some trouble... How can I decompile a .ISO file? (Particularly one ripped from a Wii disk)

I'm using these settings to rip Sonic And The Black Knight for the wii using CleanRip on the Homebrew Channel:
Fat32 SD Card
Dual Layer: No
Chunk Size: Max
New Device Per Chunk: No

It makes two ISO files... I know this may be blatantly obvious, but meh.

So basically you're trying to extract the files from the game?

Just open Dolphin and browse to the directory where the .ISO is, right-click the game in Dolphin's list of games, click Properties, click the Filesystem tab, right-click "Partition 1", click extract and then look through the files for what you need.

I can't believe that worked... Thanks so much!!! Now I can post annoying rips and such. X3

They aren't annoying, TMR's primary uploader just doesn't get around to taking care of the submissions much. Tongue
