Photoshop cs2 .pal into graphics gale - twocans - 10-09-2013

Hi, I'm using graphics gale free edition and photoshop cs2 because I'm a broke indie. I'm trying to use the Indexed Color mode and Color Table feature from photoshop to create a palette I can use in graphics gale. PS allows me to save the color table as a Microsoft .pal, but when I try to load the palette in graphics gale I get a "Can't load this format" pop-up. If I save the palette as a .act it doesn't show up in graphics gale's file explorer at all.

I've taken to just saving a screenshot of the color table in PS and dragging the colors to the palette manually in GG, but there's got to be an easier way. I know other people get palettes from PS into GG using this method, there must be something simple I'm missing.
