RE: HUMAN WOMAN - Phantom Killah - 12-09-2013

I decided to take a break from Pokemon and try to learn how to anatomy

Here's the hastily censored clean version, if you're sensitive or boring

and here's the original, full version with bonus content and everything
!!!!WARNING!! NAKED LADIES!!!!!

RE: HUMAN WOMAN - Gors - 12-09-2013

The thighs in your pixel seems a tad too big, either slim it or make it uniformly thick, its kinda distracting to see it jutting out like that

RE: HUMAN WOMAN - Kopaka - 12-10-2013

I'm really impressed by your knowledge of anatomy and the steps you take to make sure you achieve a believable result! I could never quite grasp the concept of the head measuring system, how do you determine someone height? Is it a combination of the number of heads and the size of it?

Heads are just a way of measuring someone's proportions, not necessarily their height. you would measure a character's proportions based on the size of their head. a character that's say, 3 heads tall proportionately, still can be taller than someone who's 8 heads tall. a good example is the difference between The Thing and Mr. Fantastic from the Fantastic Four.

I say that you're off to a good start, PK. though, I'd try drawing the lady from different angles and different poses. the best way to understand anatomy is by learning how things look when they bend and move.

For the boulder pokemon add 3 floating rocks on the arms and small rocks for fingers.

RE: HUMAN WOMAN - Phantom Killah - 01-08-2014

Okay I am back now with more naked babes .

I tried a couple of different poses, I think I'm off to a pretty good start

naked version: (warning: very naked)

RE: HUMAN WOMAN - x0_000 - 01-08-2014

The two hands on hip pose is awkward. Her collarbone is slanted so that the left shoulder is lower but her left hand is higher on the hip, and her legs suggest her pelvis would be slanted so the right side is lower. Trying to pose like that is really hard!

RE: HUMAN WOMAN - Gors - 01-09-2014

protip: the more you lower the hand (and therefore the arm), the more the corresponding shoulder will lower, too. This means that in that two hands on hip pose, the shoulder line shouldn't be like this / (lower left side, higher right side), but more like this \

RE: HUMAN WOMAN - Phantom Killah - 01-22-2014

I don't know if anyone remembers or cares about this, but I've done some new stuff

I applied some of the anatomy stuff I've been practicing to the sword-having girl and did a bunch of other things

comments would be appreciated!

RE: HUMAN WOMAN - Gors - 01-22-2014

i like how fat dude's clothes are smilar to the girl's, like a uniform kind of way

I like that you picked up on that because the two characters are actually partners.

together, they fight crime

RE: HUMAN WOMAN - Kirbyfan - 01-22-2014

What crime do they fight?

I know it's style and characterization, but the shoulder placement on the fat man is a bit to high up (maybe just for my taste). The arms/shoulders could stay as far behind the head as they are, but a few pixels lower would be nice. Not too much lower, to hopefully preserve the look you're going for, but a couple pixels couldn't hurt.

RE: HUMAN WOMAN - Phantom Killah - 01-22-2014

The fat man is not a human, he's a member of a desert dwelling species descended from octopuses. So that might explain the unnatural shoulder placement, although I'll still take that into consideration.

The crime they fight is mostly evil wizards and things

RE: HUMAN WOMAN - Kirbyfan - 01-23-2014

Well, he's certainly the most vertebratey invertebrate I've ever seen. Tongue

Since he's a different species an whatnot, you can disregard my previous statement. You were talking about making the girl somewhat anatomically sound, so I figured the man was, to an extent, intended to be so as well. My mistake. Smile

Troblorks, the humans' bald, asymmetrical cousins.

I think I got the body structure right on the third attempt
