Well, I certainly owe you all at least a progress report on how the sheet is coming along, so here you are:
http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u33/omegakyogre/GalactaKnight_Sheet-2.png

It's incomplete. I'm going to have each and every sprite of each and every attack on this sheet, and I'm going to include his sprites with wings, without wings, and separated sprites of his wings, sword, shield, and himself.
Though, work on the sheet has been officially slowed to a crawl because I have found myself with an injury to my right hand (I'm a righty, too) as a result of a disagreement between me and my front door (I was trying to close it; as it turns out, you shouldn't push on the lead glass parts of 30-year-old doors). The resulting velcro splint its in (my hand, not the door Tongue) right now makes it annoying to type and use a mouse. But enough of my ranting: It'll be off in a few days / a week and I'll work double-time to get this sheet finished. I think it'll be worth the wait. In the mean time anyone is free to use the sprites I have compiled so far so long as I get credit where credit is due. Thanks, everyone!

EDIT: Oh, nice job on the Kirby rip, DrShnaps! I have a question: Would you allow other spriters to use your kirby sprites on which to paste the ripped hats, so rippers of each of Kirby's abilities don't have to re-rip Kirby every time? I had to rip both Kirby and his hat for the Cutter Kirby sheet and it was fairly annoying. Obviously you'd get credit in each of the sheets that use your sprites in this way. The ultimate decision is up to you as well, of course.

Can i help, I can't rip but I can edit.

This is a ripping Project, little to no edits will be needed.

Plus your edits are shit.

On the other hand, Omega Kyogre, I love you.
that was mean, and i'm going to help.

RE: Super Star Ultra - Boo - 10-07-2008

Ahahahaha!
Oh man, listen.
This is a project that is ripping sprites from the DS game. You don't need edits.

RE: Super Star Ultra - Dazz - 10-07-2008

Isn't using Shnap's Kirby sheet for the abilites and so on going to mean that it loses any extra shading that the kirby sprites use?
I'm sure that certain abilities add varieties of shading to them, like the swimming sprites and the goggles.

RE: Super Star Ultra - Jermungandr - 10-07-2008

Nope. That shading is actually attached to the bottom of the hat sprites. There are no other individual sprites for the abilities; they all use that same bkir.b file; with the exception of some specific sprites that are included in their a***.b with the ability's effects; but even those have their shading separate.

[EDIT] Oh wait, I see what you mean. I'll ... do something.

RE: Super Star Ultra - Ton - 10-07-2008

I love Plasma Wisp's redesign.

RE: Super Star Ultra - Boo - 10-07-2008

Yeah.. what Emulator are you guys using? I'm using No$Gba and I can't find any layer control..

Anybody..? Lol..

RE: Super Star Ultra - Geo the Fox - 10-08-2008

I wish the plasma hat and Plasma Wisp were more like their KAR versions. They both look too much like spark now...

RE: Super Star Ultra - Batandy - 10-08-2008

My emulator doesn't work!

RE: Super Star Ultra - Random Talking Bush - 10-08-2008

If you're getting that error message, then you should probably switch the "NDS-Cartridge Backup Media" setting to "Auto"... or just keep changing it between the settings until you get one that works.

Simirror is comin' atcha next.

RE: Super Star Ultra - Geo the Fox - 10-08-2008

Keep up the good work~

RE: Super Star Ultra - Jermungandr - 10-08-2008

By the way, if anyone is looking for an easy rip to do, I'd suggest doing Stone Ability. I mean, he only has one attack and I've already ripped all the different rock formations in Rocky's sheet so you'd have your work cut out for you.

Wheel Ability would be another quick easy one.

Basic No$GBA doesn't have it. The advanced version does, but you have to 'pay' for it.
