Question: Importing Bck Animation Files? - Silus - 06-25-2013

I specifically joined this forum to ask this question, how do you import bck files (animation files from games like super mario galaxy) into 3d animation software and game engines like blender and unity? This applies to the other animation formats found in the ObjectData too like btp, bva, canm etc. I'd really like to use these animations for my models in unity.
I heard you have to rig the model and import the animations in 3d software and then export to fbx for them to work but are you suppose to convert the animations to a readable format for the 3d software to understand them and open them first or can they be imported as they are now in any 3d software by default? Am new to this and confused so can anyone help me? I would really appreciate it.
