newbie wuth some pokemon sprites - AaronScales - 09-20-2008

Hi, my name is Aaron...but you can see that.Shy
well anyway, I made some pokemon sprites so I wanted to post them on TSR. Hope I do this right.

RE: newbie wuth some pokemon sprites - JoshR691 - 09-20-2008

Well, I don't think this will be accepted for three reasons:
1. It's an edit of the official Pose(s)
2. You can pretty much reduce it to the two poses you used to make it
3. You used the SFX from my 'Pokemon Attacks' Sheet(Yeah, I checked because they looked familiar) already on TSR, without Credit(with the exception of Tackles SFX, & Leech Seed's 'Seeded Grass' and you elongated my Bulbasaur's Vine Whip)

I'm not trying to say it's terrible, it's actually decent for your first sheet, but edits like this usually don't make it on the site

as for credit,
1) I plan to make a thank you page when I get a web sight, which will list every spriter I ever used as a base for my sprites and
2) I'm new at this, whose really gonna take me seriously? I've been making sprites for like 10, 11 months.Cute no hard feelings ok?

RE: newbie wuth some pokemon sprites - Neslug - 09-20-2008

I would like to know which parts of these sprites you actually made. Because I sure can't see 'em.

What JoshR said, and they'd need more animation to actually be useful, not just one or two frames per action.

Oh, and you might want to save all sprites in the PNG format.

RE: newbie wuth some pokemon sprites - Zee - 09-20-2008

Well, this is all fine and well, but edits don't make it onto tSR for good reason. Moving to sprite discussion.

RE: newbie wuth some pokemon sprites - Rosencrantz - 09-20-2008

You need to spell a little bit better :<

RE: newbie wuth some pokemon sprites - Chdonga - 09-21-2008

1.) NEVER EVER Jpg sprites.
2.) Why is Makuhita is a recolor of a Chao?

That's pretty much all I can say that no one else said.
