hi well here is the computer brand i am using http://www.staples.ca/laptop+acer/directory_laptop+acer_20051_1_20001?

i would suggest on that list the $629.98 computer with the 1 TB Drive (Tera Bite Drive) it is way more powerful than mine i got mine on sale awhile ago, but my whole family loves this brand.

also ps2 emulators themselves arn't that very emulatable in the first place every game lags pretty badly, however gamecube/wii emulator almost all games work fantastic it really depends on how the emulator is built, besides emulators arn't the actual system so you kinda expect the flaws that come with emulation Smile

links to rippers i use

3D Via Printscreen (May not work perfcetly on all games or not work at all but models are always at perfect scaling with this one)

3DX ripper (You have to fix skewing and Streching/Squishing)

hope this helps you out Cool

RE: Laptop and ripping - senjen - 03-18-2013

well my sister did use my computer for steam and played Team Fortress 2 and The Amnesia games perfectly, since then i have uninstalled steam since she has her own computer not really a fan of Digital games i prefer owning the actual cartridge/disks Smile (Unless the game is only available digitally then i will get it, which i think stinks when a game is digital only)
