It has been a while.

Today, I bring you... ALL the maps. Yes, you heard right, all of them. Every. Single. One.
(Except if I missed one but I doubt it!)

So here's the plan: Delete my old map rips (keep the opening!) and put these up. They are more complete.
I know several map assets are missing like bushes and all the things. That's why I supply an (incomplete) sheet with several map objects and animations. I think that's better than having duplicates all over the place and I wouldn't know which map would need what anyways! I'm thinking about updating the sheets (map assets & NPCs) whenever I get new content (which might not be any time soon).

Long story short, enjoy these fine rips.

Btw, Tower of Guidance 36 has an empty layer, maybe you want to get rid of it.

So many files I lost any overview at some point.
I had about 640 seperate room map files (with three layers + merged version on each) before I glued them together.

I used a modified version of NLZ-GBA to extract all the compressed data thingys (first time I ever messed with C# code). I also found a list of references (pointers to data elsewhere in the rom) somewhere in the rom and wrote a little program to match the addresses with the files I decompressed earlier. What I got was a list of matching files (layers 1-3, tiles, palette) for each map. I used my NBFxReader to create pictures out of the raw data (it views GBA/DS format maps and tiles). Then I used a second list of references I found that grouped maps under an area name and threw all the layers into another program I made which made the sheets. Last thing was to go through all of them and see if they were alright and to remove empty layers and to merge sheets where it was feasible.
THEN I WROTE A PROGRAM WHICH READ THE FILE NAMES AND PUT THEM INTO FORUM POST FORM SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO MAKE ALL THE URL AND IMG TAGS MANUALLY.

It was a lot of manual and half-automated work which kept me busy for days or weeks (I lost any grasp of time).

IT TOOK 5 HOURS BUT I AM FINALLY DONE--*faints*
But yeah, I have some things to report along with that:

First off, I had to fix 6 of your icons as the numbers weren't correct. Second, the following sheets appear to have one or more blank layers on them:

Ancient Temple 7
Border Forest 4
Gondarle Castle (though this one doesn't take up any extra space so it's nothing to worry with)
Gondarle Graveyard (same as Gondarle Castle)
Gratze Fortress 14
Gratze Fortress 15
Gratze Fortress 23
Gratze Fortress 26
Inside the Behemoth 25
Inside the Behemoth 30
Jungle Spire Cave Ruins (same as Gondarle Castle)
Land of the Dead 16
Mera Volcano 4
Mera Volcano 12-15 (same as Gondarle Castle)
Mera Volcano 19
Tower of Guidance 1-3 (same as Gondarle Castle)
Tower of Guidance 33

Third, I'm pretty sure I got rid of all the duplicates now. Fourth, you don't want to know how big this has made my next update...!
Fifth, this is the most sheets I have ever seen in one post on TSR. Congratulations, you lovely little robot you.

I really tried my best to reduce the workload... I had 640 seperate sheets to begin with.
At some point I just couldn't see things any more and thus; errors...

The empty layers have been removed, I think! On some sheets like Gondarle Castle they were intentional as it fits in better with the other rooms, for the other sheets... I just overlooked them Embarassed

Please apologize!! Ouch!




Also I deleted a duplicate upload of Nimona Mines 15-16.

Hahah it's okay, and THANKS for fixing that so I wouldn't have to. Sick
