But the PSX version has 12 frames for the circle beam, are you sure it's complete?

Btw, fantastic job everybody. This is one of my favorite topics on TSR =D
Ah, so I guess Konami recycled the sprites for Sexy Parodius, then. Wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.

As for the ripple beams, I'll double-check. The game's tiles are such a mess that it's hard to find everything, and frankly you can't even see any frame past the second-last one in-game as it's off-screen at the time.

"Playable Characters" always works.

Amazing work guys! I've got everything uploaded to this point (I believe)!

Mug Smashers (Arcade)
Enemies and Bosses

Streets of Rage 3/Bare Knuckle III (Genesis)
Playable Characters

The character that nobody liked, well either that or the kangaroo. Oh and even though I am aware of the Pancake tools for the SOR series, did it the old fashioned way due to that tool outputs a black alpha channel as well as duplicated poses and lots of blank space.

You have no idea how happy I am about you still ripping Mug Smashers. Seriously.

Also, I used Zan in SOR3 I think... I really didn't enjoy that one though Tongue

Can I ask why there are glitchy anchors along the bottom and a few other places?

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 5: _____-em-up! - Cyrus Annihilator - 07-15-2012

You Mighty? You can ask ANYTHING, EVERYTHING! lol
By the time I started to rip Drake, a sprite artist named ZVitor was looking for some chains in 16-bits (he was making Ghost Rider). So I let the tiles of the anchor (under its respective frame) on the sprite sheet.
Do you think it's better to identify them? Like: "Anchor Tiles -> "

This gave me a few laughs, lol.
I guess you can leave them on if you think they might be useful, I was just curious (and yes it'd probably be good to label them as tiles so people won't wonder what they are). Tongue

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 5: _____-em-up! - Cyrus Annihilator - 07-15-2012

I updated with labels in the "glitchy tiles". I'll let them there...

RE: Sprite Ripping Project 5: _____-em-up! - Yawackhary - 07-16-2012

Same here regarding SOR3, I prefer the first two (or the remake). Also I'll keep ripping Mug Smashers to make people happy even if the game is awful. After all other people's happiness is a strong feeling. Smile Speaking of which:

As usual if there are any glitches, they are as appear in the tile viewer and in the game.

When I'm done with my stage project, I'll try to rip some characters.
