RE: [IMPORTANT] HOW TO MAKE A GOOD SPRITE SHEET 2.0 - Garamonde - 03-01-2012

Well, Dazz is okay with them. They really aren't bad sheets, and I really do enjoy reading your funny little comments on them.

I think as long as they don't stretch out the sheet by any means, then they're okay to have there. Otherwise they should probably be left out for the sake of saving space.

edited the original post to include a direct link for the icon maker.

Replaced the Icon Maker link in the OP with the latest revision (and also because I deleted the old one from my MediaFire).

I think one of the WRONGs is placed behind the wrong picture and belongs to the BLANK SPACE example.

About the boxes for sheets:
Hm yeah, let's say: You have them or you don't have them. When you extract from DS/PC/etc., you will probably have boxes. Any other console (especially SNES) comes without them, so it sounds like people should make extra boxes for the sprites.

By the way: Jump animations + boxes are useless, most of the time you have a jump where the sprite keeps his appearance at different altitudes.

And if you get the extracted boxes/SinglePics from DS/PC/whatever, you shouldn't waste your time with proof-animating them. They're either absolutely correct or the boxes have different heights/widths according to the actual size of the sprites.

This means I'll need to revise it in order to be more accurate. As I'm more of a sprite maker rather than ripper, some of te suggestions might not work.
I know it's quite a bump, but an update is on the way.
