Ripping models from an NDS game - blakegriplingph - 01-25-2012

Can anyone help me with this? I have this game for the DS, and while it is possible to rip stuff from Pokemon and a bunch of other games, the one I have packs all of its assets in a single .pak file, and I'm not sure on how to pry it open as it isn't a conventional NARC file.

HijackGL works, but I'm only getting a bunch of vertices that I have to "connect-the-dots" in Maya or something. And I'm unsure at using szfzafa's modified Desmume code, either.

well since it's a pak file, it's a common format since quake, so any pak extractor you can find on the web should work

Vincentmrl, please pay attention to post dates, this topic is quite old. Try to avoid bumping old topics!

Also, .pak isn't .pak, many different file formats can use the same extension, they aren't unique. File headers should be more conclusive but can be ambiguous, too.
