RE: Monkeying Around - A.J. Nitro - 02-02-2012

Ya, it just needs to match the palette of the color on the objects sheet. Someone should check the TNT Knocka palette on the Kremling sheet as well.

RE: Monkeying Around - HandToeKnee - 02-02-2012

@A.J. Nitro The red barrel enemy (Klasp) is the correct palette. It's the same palette I used to rip the TNT Knocka.

@Tonberry2k Seeing as though TNT Knocka isn't in the game, I think it should be separate Tongue

RE: Monkeying Around - A.J. Nitro - 02-02-2012

I've always wondered. Can you pick up and throw the purple barrel guys?

RE: Monkeying Around - HandToeKnee - 02-02-2012

No. But there is the palette for it. Same as the TNT Knocka, there's a brown (ordinary) palette for that, too.

And a green palette... The possibilities Tongue

RE: Monkeying Around - Ton - 02-02-2012

I think TNT Knocka has an unused name as well. I'll need to look.

Really? Then maybe we should include those palettes, too?

RE: Monkeying Around - Dolphman - 02-02-2012

after checking the current Kremlings sheet for DKC3. it's not just Bazuka that needs reripping.

- Kachuka (purple barrel) needs the bombs seperate from its hand
- Klasp is missing most of its idle animations (including blinking, and looking around)
- Kopter has unused sprites as well. notably idle, takeoff and death sprites.

as for the Brothers Bear. some of them actually do need to be reripped
mostly the ones missing their special animations. (IE Brash pounding his desk in rage, and Blunder's bowtie spinning)
in fact. Fabio's sheets of the bears lack their background layers compared to granville's sheets
that and Zeon's rip of Barnacle is on a black background, thus making them useless. and the Banana bird on there could be on a separate sheet too

and now some minor things regarding DKC2

- the alternate coloured Kaboing has an idle animation. you can get a good glimpse of it in Web Woods.
- Zinger, Flitter, and Floatsam have unused palettes seen here
- i think the aquatic enemies need fixing up as well

hopefully that's enough for yas to check out.

RE: Monkeying Around - A.J. Nitro - 02-03-2012

There more on the project's to do list.

RE: Monkeying Around - Ton - 02-03-2012

Thanks, Dolphman! Unfortunately this means I have to play Web Woods...

RE: Monkeying Around - HandToeKnee - 02-03-2012

The TNT Knocka in the GBA version is called KRACKA.

RE: Monkeying Around - A.J. Nitro - 02-03-2012

Best name ever! But I wonder why they changed it.

This is the wrong one, you uploaded my WIP.

RE: Monkeying Around - Ton - 02-03-2012

I actually fixed it a little while before I saw this post. Tongue

RE: Monkeying Around - Davy Jones - 02-03-2012

Ok, thanks =)

Btw, this one needs a re-rip:

Look at the middle of the screen, the SNES controller makes it obvious.

RE: Monkeying Around - Ton - 02-03-2012

Hah, good catch.
