The sheet is good, but do you think you can get rid of the blank space?

I was thinking the same thing. Also, I'm on top of Kylie Koopa so you don't have to worry about her. Wink

Saved!

K, still ripping Mario's solo battle sprites, but I'm having quite a hard time figuring out the animation order/start and end for a some of Mario's poses. It's when he's carrying fainted Luigi but I just can't seem to break up the animations to "idle" "pickup/letdown" for everything, it just seems like one big animation. If anyone needs me to post piotures I can.

also, off topic, but I'm curious as to why my pocket chomp sheet was removed from the main site?

RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - A.J. Nitro - 02-07-2012

I think you should post what you have for the animation that's confusing you. Maybe I can help out. I checked real quick in the game and looks normal to me.

Also, your Pocket Chomp is still on the site, but I guess someone just moved it to the miscellaneous section of the game.

RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - Garamonde - 02-07-2012

My bad, I had it in Playable Characters by mistake so I moved it to Miscellaneous yeah, because there was no better section for it.

Okay, so, here's the part I was talking about before:

The first row is him picking up Luigi and tossing him on his back. The second row is his idle.

I pretty much just eyeballed where the animations went, so I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not this is accurate?
Also, I couldn't find identical poses for the part where the dust was so I couldn't remove it, if someone could help me remove it I would be most grateful! Smile

(btw, I have much more mario-carring-luigi poses, those are just the ones I had trouble with. Wink

Oh. So should the same go with the other two M&L's?

edit:

well, technically only BIS.

RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - A.J. Nitro - 02-10-2012

Well for the idle, maybe there's way more poses than you think. You have 8 frames for the idle when there might actually be around 16. Just keep checking for more and have Mario stay in that pose for as long as he can and eventually he'll start from the first frame again.

For the poses with the dust, check the part where Mario puts Luigi down and see if the same poses are used again.

As for the Pocket Chomps, I'll go ahead and move them back to playables.

RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - Garamonde - 02-10-2012

Techinically though you can't play as them though, they're only battle assets.

True, but you're playing as the Mario quartet, which are in the sheet.

The only thing you do control is the timing.

RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - Garamonde - 02-11-2012

Eh well, it's alright if they're in Playables then. Guess it only makes sense.

I guess it's worth mentioning that glintercept works with this game... However like many games it just dumps the pieces of the sprites and not the entire sprites. I imagine that if there were a way to unpack the ARC file in the rom we may be able to find an easier way. ( Perhaps the game has NCGR etc. files in that confounded archive.)
