references are always important.

and your shading needs more contrast on most, if not all of the pikmin.

Try making their bodies not made of straight lines. Purple pikmin should be bigger/fatter than the others. Red's nose isn't really in the right place. I think it should be a little higher. Sometimes, flipping the image over horizontally helps give you a fresh look to align things properly.

White's eyes shouldn't be diamonds, and their heads are looking pretty jagged. Their stems are too thick, they should become skinnier. I think they're too long, also. From the ref pic their stems look to be about...as long as their head maybe? Yours is like, the length of their head and their body. In fact, try to compare the lengths/widths of all of their body parts to get their proportions right.
