Oh god, noted.

This also reminds me of the Death glitch in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. That sucked.

I'm fairly surprised none of the beta testers caught on to this during it's development.

I don't know, since lttp seems to be in the same timeline as wind waker which ganon exists in. I think it does explain ganondorfs absence though.

Also that bug is crazy. I'm glad I did the Thunder Dragon quest last.

Hold up the curse only explains the creation of ganon (or rather the entity that would become ganon).
Ganondorf's origin is completely separate. It is very possible that his involvement with demise was just a side effect of gaining the triforce of power.
He is still a character with his own complex reasoning for feeling the way he does (explained in wind waker), and probably would have attempted to rule hyrule with the curse existing or not.

Link on the other hand is pretty much a complete tool

i don't think there's any point to getting mad about the stories of zelda games

RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - Kriven - 12-08-2011

THERE ISN'T A SPLIT TIMELINE DAMMIT!

explain otherwise you're joking.

RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - Zac - 12-09-2011

there is no way a split timeline isn't canon after wind waker

attention anyone who actually concerns themselves with the Zelda timeline:

do you know what a "legend" actually is

don't pull the legend card

if there is one thing that we should know about the zelda series by now it is that every "legend" in the series is 100% accurate

Hey, let's not fight over Zelda timelines. Thanks.
