[In Development][Playable]Pokemon Rumble 2D(Pending title) - DJGameFreakTheIguana - 09-21-2011

When I first Introduced my idea of a pokemon beat'em up game here, people said it might not be a good idea, but I always wanted to pokemon game where you actually control the pokemon in a fighting environment. I don't have the main part of this title done yet, but I've recently gathered some stages I wanted to use in it. For now, I've made a battle game for people to play until I get that part done:

I have the Download Link posted in this forum with some explanations:

In case you miss it, Make sure to set your controls in options because this mod uses attacks 1 to 4(most mods don't). If you have to go back to options in game, simply press the screenshot button when the game is paused(F12 be default).
Feedback is appreciated. Cool

That video is really jumpy and doesn't really help make your game look presentable; and your game is definitely lacking in the "presentation" area.

What does this game do that should make somebody want to play it? At the moment it just looks like you pick a Pokemon and mindlessly attack a bunch of AI opponents, and it doesn't look or sound organized at all.

I can't do too much about the video, I can never find a good recorder that can at least record in full FPS. At the moment, there really isn't too much presentation right now. It's only a small demo, but after I get enough done, I'll work on the stages and try to make some cut scenes.

Basically being the 2D version of the wiiware title, which I'm not able to play myself, plus looking at the list of other OpenBOR mods, this alone will make it stand out from most of the line up.

Like I said, small demo, but I always liked brawlers games like this, but always wished they had more then just the average 4P fight, which is why I added more AI enemies, like in Sega Brawlers. Once the main story come up, you will have a few Poke's to choose and you will fight through waves of enemies who are all after you, pretty much like all Beat'em ups. I will be trying to improve on more areas of gameplay once I get into all that though.
