Everything seems very flat for now, because the impression of volume is badly conveyed.
I think your palette could be better, too.
Here's a little tutorial, which also gives a good impression of a sphere:

I gave the melon and the kick-fruit some more shading. And I gave the pepper shape. That better?

Now that I look at it, the kick-fruit looks very dark. Blank
