I SHOULD have all the enemy battle poses available, I'll look it up later tonight. Just keep in mind that the palettes usually aren't unused, they are usually Boss version palettes. For example, the Chimera, the little floating devil guy and Shadow Zero all have alternate palettes as boss characters.

I've bee trying to map out the game but not making much progress, only 2 areas so far:

In areas with scrolling backgrounds, or just backgrounds at all, I thought I could use ripping tools to extract the parts then reassemble the rooms with them the way I use BGMapper to map SNES games. But PSicture doesn't seem to give me anything like area backgrounds and I don't know of any other PS1 graphic ripping tools.

Small note on the Mantis and Hegs Ant palettes (and boss palettes in general): The 2nd palettes listed as Alt palettes are actually the palettes used for body parts that appear further back and in shadow. If you look at the Encyclopedia images you included in your sheet, you'll see the difference between them. However in most cases these palettes are fairly usable in their own right for ALL body parts of the boss, not just the back pieces. Just thought you should know.

I'm through with all main events and defeated also the Lord of the Jewels. He will be my next rip together with Lady Blackpearl as the last possible party member (I don't count Esmeralda since you can't invite her for a battle or fight her in the arena).
