Sprites for a small Flash Game.

They are supposed to have that Classic NES feel
to them. If you don't like that then Tough Nubs.

RE: Squiz - Cshad - 08-09-2008

Those aren't nes styled sprites :/
Study them a bit more

RE: Squiz - Chdonga - 08-09-2008

They need to look more 8-bit to be NES styled. If you made them even slightly bigger that would be nice. Are you gonna put them in a real game?

RE: Squiz - GrooveMan.exe - 08-09-2008

Not 8-Bit by a long shot. There's a NES palette on TSR if i remember right. Sprites should be 4 colours including the background transparency colour. Sprites made up of more than 4 colours are actually images arranged from 2 separate sets of sprite data - MegaMan in his NES games is an example of that.

Tough nubs? So you're saying that if we don't like the sprites, basically to **** off? Honestly...

Anyways, the style isn't anything like the NES sprites were. I'd suggest what CShad said, studying the classics a bit more.

They're also pillow shaded.
