One quick thing - Link - 05-08-2011

It's more of a question than a request, but what are some common resolutions of .exe games?

Thank you very much.

(Thanks for moving it, my bad)

Based on a ton of things which I play, I'd say 640x480. I'd probably go 800x600 if you're feeling most risky, but yeah - once again I'd say that's generally the windowed size. Fullscreen is different and might be like 1280x800 by now, lol

You might also want to go with a widescreen ratio too though, if you're wanting to appeal to people who play fullscreen on their wide monitors. :V

Whoa, whoa, 640x480? My current resolution is 1680x1050, that would be minuscule, lowest resolution you're gonna see is 1024x768.

For a window 800x600 is safe, even 1024x768 is usually fine, as for fullscreen, your guess is as good as mine, people use 4:3, 16:10 and 16:9 screens, so one resolution will never work for everyone.

640x480 is actually pretty decent if it's a sprite game he's talking about. It really depends on how big you can sprite (it's big for 16x16 tiles but maybe not 32x32)
